I’m writing a number of friends and well established members in our community.  Unfortunately I’m writing to ask for your help.  Vroman’s is a private business, but we’ve always considered it a civic institution as well, and we would be remiss if we didn’t reach out for support at a moment when our future is in doubt.

The League of Women Voters, Pasadena Area, and the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce are co-hosting a candidate forum for candidates for those running for the Pasadena Unified School District Board of Education on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at 6:30pm. The forum is for candidates on the on the November 3rd ballot.

CalSavers Registration Deadline is September 30, 2020 for Employees with more than 100 employees

Most employers (five employees or more), that do not already offer an employer-sponsored retirement plan, will be required to begin offering a retirement plan or provide their employees access to CalSavers. On Thursday, September 17th at 6:30 pm we will host Pasadena Mayor Terry Tornek and Pasadena Council Member and Attorney Victor Gordo who are each vying to be Pasadena's mayor.

Pasadena Media will broadcast the events on the Arroyo Channel and stream the event live via Zoom.
