Pasadena League of Women Voters, Pasadena Chamber host candidate forums for Pasadena Mayoral election, PUSD school board elections; Pasadena Media to stream and broadcast events

The League of Women Voters, Pasadena Area, and the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce are co-hosting two candidate forums for local elections on the November 3rd ballot.

On Thursday, September 17th at 6:30 pm we will host Pasadena Mayor Terry Tornek and Pasadena Council Member and Attorney Victor Gordo who are each vying to be Pasadena's mayor.

Pasadena Media will broadcast the events on the Arroyo Channel and stream the event live via Zoom.

The mayoral candidates will meet face-to-face (in a socially distanced manner) in the City Council Chambers at City Hall. Due to COVID-19 concerns, there can be no audience for theevent. Each mayoral candidate will have the opportunity to present an opening statement. Each will respond to all questions posed by the moderator, respond and be able to follow up with further comments. each will provide a closing statement, as well.

The Mayoral Forum will aslo be broadcast on the Arroyo Channel hosted by Pasadena Media. The Arroyo Chamnnel is available on Charter Spectrum Channel 32; AT&T U-verse Channel 99, Fire TV, Apple TV and Roku as Pasadena Media. 

Due to the number of candidates, the PUSD School Board candidates will be attending via Zoom live on Wednesday, September 23rd at 6:30pm.

All candidates for PUSD Board of Trustees have been invited to the event. District 2 candidates Jennifer Hall lee, Wayne Hammack and Mike Crowley are contesting the District 2 seat left open when Larry Torres chose not to run. Scott harden is challenging Incumbent Partick Cahalan for hte District 4 seat. Milena Albert, Priscilla Hernandez, Tina Wu Frederick and Crystal Czubernat are contesting the open seat for District 6.
