The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce and our fellow San Gabriel Valley Chambers are hosting a series of webinars. Renewal and Resilience: Navigating the Future of Business is hosted by the Chambers of Commerce of Alhambra, Altadena, Azusa, Claremont, El Monte/South El Monte, Glendora, Greater West Covina, Monrovia, Pasadena, Pomona, Regional Chamber of the San Gabriel Valley (Diamond Bar, Walnut, etc.) Rosemead, San Dimas, South Pasadena, Temple City and Whittier. The first episode featured Pasadena Chamber member John Burt giving an overview of the Landscape of 2024: Trends and Challenges. The City of Pasadena and the Pasadena Chamber hosted the 9th Economic and Business Summit in October. 150 people attended hearing updates on the economy from Charles Dougherty of Wells Fargo, David Reyes, Pasadena Assistant City Manager discussed local development and city initiatives and Rob McClinton, president of the board of Innovate Pasadena explained AI and its implications for business. Thank you to sponsors Verizon, Kaiser Permenente and Wells Fargo. We are especially grateful for the help and support of the City of Pasadena.
The Pasadena Chamber with Athens Services and the City of Pasadena hosted a webinar on composting requirements for commercial customers and multi-family residential properties. Thank you to Christian Herrera, Iso Nakasato, Eddie Tufenkjian, Tania Valdez, Mayra Ruizesparza and Dora Castro from Athens Services and Gabriel Silva and the team from the City of Pasadena Public Works Department for assisting with putting the program together and presenting the information.
The Pasadena Chamber presented our 8th Economic and Business Summit in October, 2022. Economist Charles Dougherty, Pasadena Economic Development Director David Klug and Patrick Church and Alexandra Sesi of JLL discussed the economy, local development and emerging industries in Pasadena. Mayor Victor Gordo welcomed guests. Chamber Board Chair Raphael Henderson hosted the afternoon's event.
