On Tuesday, February 19th Pasadena Police Officer Darin Craddolph will present an active shooter training for Chamber member small businesses. Registration begins at 2:30 with the presentation promptly at 3pm.

The workshop will include topics such as:

Calling on the Pasadena business community to host a table at the Career Exploration Fair, Thursday, February 28th at John Muir Early College Magnet High School. We are seeking all entrepreneurs as well as the culinary industry, tech and healthcare. The goal is to explain to students enrolled in the Business and Entrepreneuship Academy about your industry and the skills/education needed for success. Companies can make it as creative/interactive as possible for total engagement.

On February 11, 2019, at 6:30pm, the Pasadena City Council will consider raising the minimum wage in Pasadena to $14.25 per hour starting July 1, 2019, and $15 per hour July 1, 2020. (Sorry for the short notice, I just heard about the agenda date a week ago). 

The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce has collected data from our local business community and members about the impacts of the previous increases and how businesses coped with the increased labor costs.
