The Economic and Business Development Committee of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce invites leaders of business and industry in Pasadena discuss our local economy, their industries and the future of business in Pasadena at the first Pasadena Business and Economic Summit on Thursday, October 24, 2013, at 11:30am at the University Club.

The Tory Burch Foundation and Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses are partnering with Los Angeles City College and Long Beach City College to provide an extraordinary business and management education opportunity for a select group of qualified, early stage, women-owned small businesses in Southern California.

Violence is plaguing our country; it’s in our homes, schools and in our communities. According to the Department of Justice, one in five teenagers and young women have been a victim of some form of dating violence and almost 189,000 victims of sexual assault and rape annually.“We are looking at violence affecting the women and girls of this country and in our communities on an epic scale,” said YWCA Pasadena Foothill Valley Program Director, Karen Draine.
