The first Pasadena Economic and Business Summit drew 140 to the University Club on October 24th to hear speakers discuss our local economy, trends and issues, and more. Emcee Pasadena Chamber Chair CL Keedy gave a brief update on Chamber membership and activities, followed by Pasadena Mayor Bill Bogaard who gave a brief overview of City finances and priorities.
You can support our local business community on Saturday, November 30th by shopping with a local store or dining at a local restaurant for Small Business Saturday.
Small Business Saturday is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses across the country. Founded by American Express in 2010, this day is celebrated every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. This year, Small Business Saturday is on November 30th.
Pasadena’s annual Veterans Day Ceremony has moved to a new location and will be held in front of Pasadena City Hall at Centennial Square, 100 North Garfield Ave., from 10:00 a.m. to 11:11 a.m., Monday, November 11, 2013. The public, especially all veterans, their families, friends and all uniformed military and first-responders, are encouraged to join together to help honor the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces.
The City of Pasadena Enterprise Zone Office would like to thank you for your patience during the winding down of the Enterprise Zone Program. As you may be aware, the State passed law in July 2013 that eliminates all statewide Enterprise Zones after December 31, 2013 and creates three new replacement programs that will start on January 1, 2014.

The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce has been growing in recent years. Our membership is increasing year-over-year by about 100 new members. We are very pleased to welcome so many new enterprises to the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce.
The Pasadena Chamber has tickets available for grandstand seating for the 2014 "Dreams Come True" Tournament of Roses Parade held on January 1, 2014. The Pasadena Chamber collaborates with Sharp Seating, the official grandstand seating company for the Tournament of Roses® Rose Parade*, each year offering tickets to watch the Rose Parade in person. There are grandstand seats available at different locations throughout the parade route. Price ranges are $47, $57, $67, $83 and $92.
