Congress passes $2 trillion stimulus package - will it help you?

The stimulus package is offering small businesses S.B.A.-backed loans to pay for basic expenses. They would not have to repay portions that were spent on paying employees, a mortgage, rent or utilities. The banks lending the money would be reimbursed for those portions by the Treasury Department, which is receiving $377 billion to fund the program.

Likewise, many of your fellow Chamber members are reeling from closures, stay at home orders, lack (or complete loss) of business.

The Pasadena Public Health Department revised its Safer at Home order. Now excluded as essential businesses are personal grooming services. Hair and nail salons, barbers and others in that industry are ordered closed. Golf courses are also ordered closed throughout Los Angeles County.
