In Los Angeles County reported 1096 new COVID cases on February 17th and 17 fatalities. Los Angeles Country has experienced 35,545 fatalities and 3,694,317 cases since the beginning of the pandemic.
Today we celebrate President George Washington and President Abraham Lincoln.
George Washington set the tone for the office and the nation. His leadership and example in office remain the standard we expect from our leaders.
Abraham Lincoln kept our nation together, among many accomplishments.
Neither was perfect. No one is. But they each set our nation on a course of honor, dignity and world leadership.
After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the San Gabriel Valley Women’s Summit will return on March 7, 2022. This year’s keynote speaker will be Rachel McClements, Chief Operating Officer of Five Acres, a non-profit focused on the well-being and mental health of children and families, and striving for a permanent, loving home for all children.
