Federal Court Upholds Employer’s COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate
Los Angeles County officials on Sunday reported 240 new coronavirus cases and seven new related deaths, reflecting the continuing decline in the spread of infection as the local vaccination campaign builds. Just over half of L.A. County residents have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine thus far, amounting to a total of 8.7 million doses administered, according to The Times’ tracker.
Thursday’s CDC announcement seems pretty straightforward. But don’t toss your mask yet, because there are some complexities, including a big one: California officials haven’t said yet whether the state will follow suit.
