On March 4, City of Pasadena Public Health Officer Dr. Ying-Ying Goh declared a Local Public Health Emergency to empower the City to more effectively respond to the novel coronavirus disease, COVID-19. This declaration coincides with actions taken by Los Angeles County and Long Beach Health Department. Currently, there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Pasadena.

Pasadena City College will celebrate its 100^th birthday in 2024. What will the college look like? What investments should be made as it begins its next 100 years? Primary nominating elections are being held on Tuesday, March 3, 2020. In addition to federal and state offices, there are several Pasadena elected offices on the ballot. 

For 2020, there are several competitive races in Pasadena. 

For Mayor, incumbert Terry Tornek is running for re-election against Councilmember Victor Gordo and entrepreneurs Jason Hardin and Major Williams. 

THE LUNCHEON ALLIANCE and CONNECTION BREAKFAST NETWORKING EVENTS HAVE MOVED TO BROOKSIDE GOLF CLUB. Breakfast and lunch will both be buffet style. Cost remains $30 for Pasadena Chamber members who reserve by the deadline. $35 for Non-Pasadena Chamber members. Those reserving after the deadline pay $5 more.

Pacific Oaks College is proud to introduce its new Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program at its Pasadena and San Jose campuses as well as Online, officially launching in May 2020. The program provides students the leadership and analytical skills needed to lead a business or thrive as part of a professional team.

Pasadena Chamber After Hours Social and Mixer February 20th hosted by Bank of the West.

Bank of the West hosts our February Pasadena Chamber After Hours Social and Mixer on Thursday, February 20th from 5pm to 7pm in their historic branch at 587 East Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena. Park in the street or in one of the nearby parking lots then enjoy appetizers, beer and wine in one of Pasadena's beautiful and historic bank buildings. (You gotta see the murals!)

The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce offices will be closed Monday, February 17, 2020, in honor of President's Day.

We will reopen Tuesday at 9am.
