Cases: The daily number of COVID- 19 cases reported in Los Angeles County jumped again on Friday with more than 3,200 new infections logged, while health officials again warned of the disproportionate impact the pandemic has had on Black and Latino/a residents. The county reported 3,270 new infections on Friday, lifting the county’s overall total from throughout the pandemic to 2,888,408.

Cases: It’s not a “surge” by any means, but COVID-19 transmission continues to be widespread across Los Angeles County, the Public Health director said Thursday, noting increases in key metrics used to track the virus and warning of the suddenly increased presence of yet another even more communicable variant.

Spring Art Night Features 15 Venues Including Gamble House…

Up to 15 sites will provide free in-person programming including visual, literary and performing arts for Pasadena’s Spring ArtNight, set to unfold April 29, City Cultural Affairs Division Manager Rochelle Branch said during the meeting of the Arts and Culture Commission on Thursday, April 14.

In addition to the in-person venues, Branch said the public can also visit at least two virtual venues for the ArtNight, which will run from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.
