Celebrate Independence Day! Chamber offices closed July 4th

Happy 4th of July!

This is a day to celebrate the vision, daring and courage of the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence in 1776. They stated the ambitions, goals and dreams of freedom and independence for 13 colonies.

Minimum wage increases to $14.25 per hour July 1, 2019

In February, the Pasadena City Council voted to increase the local minmum wage in Pasadena. The minimum wage for those employing 26 or more people will be $14.25 per hour starting July 1, 2019. For those with 25 or fewer employees, the minimum wage will be $13.25 per hour.

In 2018, the City of Pasadena amended its municipal code to hold property owners and tenants responsible for permitting the possession, sale, usage or discharge of fireworks on their property.  The code allows for the prosecution of fireworks-related offenses and for the demand of payment for all costs associated with the safe disposal of confiscated fireworks.
