Pasadena’s finest chefs plating specially prepared and priced meals for Pasadena Restaurant Week 2019

For the 10th Pasadena Restaurant Week Pasadena Chamber member restaurants are offering specially prepared meals at fixed prices from Monday, May 6th to Friday, May 10th.

 

Guests are invited to return to an old favorite or try someplace new. Taste the best Pasadena has to offer at unbeatable prices. Pasadena Restaurant Week is a great opportunity to visit Pasadena favorites such as Bistro 45Green Street Restaurant, Sushi Roku, Bone Kettle, White Horse Lounge, Kathleen'sDel Frisco's Grille, El Cholo, Ruth's Chris Steak House, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar, Celestino Ristorante, Clearman’s Northwoods Inn, True Food Kitchen, Roy’s Hawaiian, Mi Piace, SORRISO-Bar Celona, Meat District Company, Vertical Wine Bistro, The Terrace at the Langham Huntington Hotel, and many more. Chef Erwin Tjahyadi at Bone Kettle has put together a deliciously enticing menu of Indonesian cuisine from a Southern California

perspective in offering a two-course lunch that can include Spicy Papaya Salad or Chicken Wings, Ginger Seared Chicken or Top Sirloin with Bone Broth or Crispy Tempeh with Vegan Broth and Noodles. Dinner at Bone Kettle is three courses with selections such as Gado Gado (tofu tempeh salad with vegetables, fruit, quail eggs and more) for the first course, Braised Oxtails with Bone Broth and Noodles, Rendang Carbonara (braised short ribs, shallots, scallions cilantro and more), and Crab Nasi Goreng (fried rice, crab, eggs, chicken chicharron gremolata and Nam Pia, with desert of Pandan Crème Brule of Black Sesame Panna Cotta.  

 

At The Terrace at the Langham Huntington Hotel, diners can enjoy a variety of choices including a three course dinner menu of Sugar Snap Peas and Burrata Cheese, Sea Scallops and a dessert of Chocolate Salted Caramel Mousse Domes served with Espresso Ice Cream

 

Lunch at Sushi Roku could include Short Rib Boa, Spicy Pork belly ‘kakuni’ Fried Rice and a Mini Chocolate Volcano. Dinner could include Oysters to start, with entrees of Sushi or Filet mignon and Sorbet and Fresh Fruit for dessert.

 

The New School of Cooking includes a regular breakfast menu with choices including Oreo Pancakes, a Veggie Quinoa Omelet and a Chilaquiles Skillet. Lunch is also offered. Special dinner entrees include egg pasta with shrimp and bacon and sake salmon.

 

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar offers Chopped Salad, Barbecue Scottish Salmon and Key Lime Pie among their dinner offerings. For lunch at Fleming’s, diners can enjoy Chef’s Seasonal Soup and Porcini-Crusted Filet Mignon with Carrot Cake among the choices.

 

For lunch at Roy’s Hawaiian, guests can choose among  Tempura-Crusted Ahi Roll or Crispy Chicken Spring Rolls as an appetizer and entrees of Teriyaki Tofu, Karaage Fried Chicken or Teppanyaki Shrimp, among others.

 

Il Fornaio is offering three course dinners that can include Minestrone or Salad, followed by Linguine Mare Charo (pasta with clams, mussels and scallops), Cappellacci di Zucca (butternut squash filled ravioli) or Petto di Pollo al Peperoncino (chicken breast grilled with sage, rosemary, thyme and more) followed by Lady Fingers soaked in espresso and rum with mascarpone and Cannoli Siciliana.

 

White Horse Lounge, in addition to an excellent cocktail menu, offers Mayer Maque Choux Salad with Bourbon Brisket with Bourbon

Bacon Marmalade or Fried Chicken with biscuits, Cajun honey and Tajin watermelon followed by Beignets along with other choices for dinner.

 

For Dinner, Clearman’s Northwoods Inn offers their signature Cheese Bread with Soup, ½ Rack of Ribs and BBQ Chicken or a Petit Filet with King Crab entrée and a Chocolate Rum Sunday for dessert, among other menu items.

 

Del Frisco’s Grille has Artichoke Beignets, the Grille prime Cheeseburger or Hand-Shaved Prime Steak and Caramel Pot De Crème among the lunch offerings.

 

Lunch at SORRISO-Bar Celona can include a Caesar Salad, Spanish Short Rib Panini and Crème Brulee. Dinner could include Caprese Crostini, Valencia Paella and Triple Chocolate Cake.

 

For Dinner, True Food Kitchen offerings include a first course of Green Asparagus or Hummus, second course of Cauliflower Polenta of Grilled Salmon dessert of Key Lime Mousse as well as additional choices.

 

Trejo's Cantina in the Playhouse District offers a special meal for lunch and dinner. For $15, each diner can get one empanada, any two tacos and two churros.

Pasadena Restaurant Week is a citywide event featuring the cuisine of many of Pasadena’s top dining establishments. Participating restaurants will offer fixed price dinner and/or lunch menu items for visitors. Dinners will be three-course meals while lunches will consist of two-courses. Depending on the venue and menu offered, meals will be priced at either $27, $36 or $45 for dinner or $15, $20 or $25 for lunch. (Some prices may vary.) Alcoholic beverages, gratuity and tax are not included in the price unless specified by the individual restaurants in advance.
