Here’s what Livability.com had to say about Pasadena

Livability top 100 cities

A beautiful and historic city, Pasadena is perhaps best known for its annual Rose Bowl college football game that now spans more than 100 years, while the city’s annual Tournament of Roses Parade celebrated its 125th anniversary back in 2014. Pasadena ranks high in education due largely to California Institute of Technology (Cal Tech), and the medical needs of local residents can often be remedied at a sprawling Kaiser Permanente campus. The community features 16 museums, 11 performing arts halls, more than 500 restaurants and a citywide emphasis on walkability, and other quality of life assets are a temperate climate, historic architecture and Craftsman-style buildings. Pasadena is also a leader in green initiatives.
