At Stone Company Store Pasadena, we equally revere ALL Stone Brewing Co. beers, even the ones we have on draft 365 days a year, as they are all most definitely out-of-the-ordinary. With that said, occasionally we are able to offer full-on extraordinary beers, i.e., ones that are rare, one-off, vintage, barrel-aged, experimental, etc. Generally, we have one of these "specialty" draft beers come online every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with a "specialty" bottle release every Sunday. Here's a small sample of the extraordinary beers headed our way in the next couple weeks.

Note: for all to-go beer (e.g., growlers, bottles, kegs), everyone in your party must be 21+ and in possession of valid, government-issued ID.

Today, we’re hosting a special event called Spotlight on the Stone Spotlight Series. Each year, we hold a friendly intra-brewery competition that pits teams of our brewers against each other to create wildly inventive and delicious new beers. The winning beer is brewed on a large scale and distributed nationally, but today is your chance to taste each and every one of the 11 entries and decide which is the victor according to your palate!

20th Anniversary Encore Series: Stone 08.08.08 Vertical Epic Ale is back on tap starting today. It is a well-deserved re-brew of our hopped-up 2008 Belgian strong golden ale. No limit on growler fills.

Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens - Liberty Station Lifeblood, a fan-favorite American brown ale, comes back to our draft lineup today. It’s toasty, nutty, a little chocolatey, and earthily hoppy. No limit on growler fills.

Friday, February 19

Today we tap the first of several kegs of Stone Ruination Double IPA 2.0 w/ American Oak. Our liquid poem to the glory of the hop is made a little more complex with oaky tannins. No limit on growler fills.

Sunday, February 21

2006 Double Bastard Ale is our *very* vintage 22oz bottle re-release today! As with all of our vintage beers, you can rest assured that we have treated your bottle with the utmost respect, stored it at constant cellar temperature, and absolutely shielded it from those beer-ruining UV rays! Limit one bottle per customer, priced at $17.50 + tax/CRV.

Monday, February 22

Two ultra small-batch, exclusive beers will be available today: Stone Pilot - Session IPA, for those looking for extreme hoppiness with a modest ABV, and Stone Pilot - Double IPA w/ Tangerine Peel, for those who want a little more alcohol oomph and a lot more citrusy brightness. No limit on growler fills.

Tuesday, February 23

Stone Barrel-Aged Brown Ale w/Balaton Sour Cherries comes back on tap today. It presents tartness from the fruit, tannins from the oak barrels, and fruitiness from the Belgian yeast; it is easy to taste why so many have been clamoring for its return! Limit up to 2 liters per customer for growler fills.

Friday, February 26

20th Anniversary Encore Series: Stone 12th Anniversary Bitter Chocolate Oatmeal Stout is just as tongue-envelopingly luscious as it sounds. As with Tuesday, 2/16’s featured beer, it is part of the series of very special re-brews that will serve as a drumroll to our 20th anniversary this summer. No limits on growler fills.

Sunday, February 28

Today’s vintage bottle re-release is Stone Stochasticity Project Quadrotriticale, which was our experimental take on the Belgian Quadrupel style. Dried fruit notes abound, but this beer is markedly less sweet than is traditional for a Quad, thanks in part due to a malt bill that includes triticale, a wheat-rye hybrid grain. Limit one bottle per customer, priced at $7.25 + tax/CRV.
