At Stone Company Store Pasadena, we equally revere ALL Stone Brewing Co. beers, even the ones we have on draft 365 days a year, as they are all most definitely out-of-the-ordinary. With that said, occasionally we are able to offer full-on extraordinary beers, i.e., ones that are rare, one-off, vintage, barrel-aged, experimental, etc. Generally, we have one of these "specialty" draft beers come online every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with a "specialty" bottle release every Sunday. Here's a small sample of the extraordinary beers headed our way in the next couple weeks.

Note: for all to-go beer (e.g., growlers, bottles, kegs), everyone in your party must be 21+ and in possession of valid, government-issued ID.

Tuesday, December 1

Intense coffee-chocolate roastiness, intimidating 11% ABV, irresistible silken mouthfeel. Today’s specialty draft offering is 2014 Stone Imperial Russian Stout. Limit up to 2 liters per customer for growler fills.

Thursday, December 3

Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens - Liberty Station Gose Gose Gadget is back! One of only a handful of Stone-brewed sour beers, it is our interpretation of a traditional tart wheat ale from Leipzig, Germany, brewed with salt & coriander. No limit on growler fills.

Friday, December 4

Today is a day for some non-traditional fruit beers. 4 Hands/Bale Breaker/Stone Sorry Not Sorry IPA, our peach-infused DIPA, and Stone Enjoy By 12.25.15 IPA w/ Tangerine are on tap starting today. Both beers are assertively (some might say “aggressively”) hopped, keeping them true to their IPA origins, and the fruit additions provide flavor without sweetness. No limits on growler fills of either beer.

Saturday, December 5

Today is Prohibition Repeal Day! In celebration, we’re tapping several of our most proudly defiant beers: 2015 Double Bastard Ale, 2015 DEPTH-CHARGED Double Bastard Ale, Bourbon Barrel-Aged Arrogant Bastard Ale, and OAKED Arrogant Bastard Ale. No limit on growler fills.

Sunday, December 6

Stone & Sierra Nevada collaborating on a beer? An American craft beer fan couldn’t ask for more. Debuting today on draft & in 22oz bottles, Stone & Sierra Nevada NxS IPA. To create this extremely unique beer, we brewed two batches of an IPA. For the first batch, 50% was aged in gin-infused bourbon barrels and the remaining half in rye whiskey barrels. These aged beers were expertly blended with the fresh second batch of IPA, which was dry hopped to impart intense citrusy, piney aromas to complement the barrel character.

Tuesday, December 8

2013 Double Bastard Ale is our vintage draft offering this week. Limit up to 2 liters per customer for growler fills, excepting those Worthy owners of branded 3-liter growlers.

Thursday, December 10

Today’s small-batch draft specialty is Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens - Liberty Station Some White. It’s a slightly hoppier-than-normal Belgian Wit, so you can expect it to be low ABV, light on the palate, with fruity & spicy Belgian yeast notes. Fans of beers like Stone Cali-Belgique IPA will most likely find a friend in this beer. No limit on growler fills.

Friday, December 11

Stochasticity Project Graniac, a malt bomb (Seriously, there are nine different specialty grains in this beer!) that is somehow still perfectly balanced by “C-hop” bitterness and flavor, comes back on tap today. No limit on growler fills.

Sunday, December 13

Xocoveza Charred & Xocoveza Extra Añejo, the two barrel-aged versions of our wildly popular Mexican-hot-chocolate-in-a-beer, return in Quingenti Millilitre format (500 mL cork and cage finished bottles) today. Xocoveza Charred was aged in bourbon barrels, while Xocoveza Extra Añejo was aged in barrels that held, at some point, both red wine & tequila. Each bottle is $18 + tax/CRV.
