Now in its 4th year, the Pasadena Share A Meal team and members of the Pasadena community have come together to provide a safe and fun environment for Families in Transition to enjoy Thanksgiving together. The Pasadena Sandwich Company will be hosting 500 people this year, who will enjoy a sit-down Thanksgiving dinner with all of the trimmings. Children will enjoy arts and crafts, face painting, AND will get to pick out a new backpack and school supplies from Sydney Paige® Inc., a Buy 1-Give 1 company supporting education for children in need. Smart & Final Food Collection for Families in Transition
The Pasadena Sandwich Company and Smart & Final are once again joining efforts to show community support for Thanksgiving Share A Meal, benefitting the Pasadena Families in Transition. Now in its 4th year, members of the Pasadena community have come together to provide a safe and fun environment for Families in Transition to enjoy Thanksgiving together. Last year, with the help of Smart & Final and all of their generous customers, the group was able to provide canned goods to last all year long for the Families in Transition. The Smart & Final “$5 bag” promotion will be held on Saturday, November 21st and Sunday, November 22nd, at both the Fair Oaks and the Colorado Smart & Final locations, from 8am-Noon. Giving Back Together: Volunteering
Now in its 4th year, Pasadena Share A Meal brings together members of the Pasadena community to provide a safe and fun environment for Families in Transition to enjoy Thanksgiving together. Last year, we had over 100 volunteers, helping with everything from Arts and Crafts, to serving meals, to distributing backpacks. The Pasadena Share A Meal team cannot do this without your help.
