Joining your local chamber of commerce is one of the most effective (and least expensive) things you can do to build, grow and expand your business. The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce has been growing in recent years. Our membership is increasing year-over-year by about 80 new members. We are very pleased to welcome so many new enterprises to the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce and our greater Pasadena area.

At the Pasadena Chamber, we are also seeing an increasing in the number of renewing companies. Some of that can be attributed to the slow leveling off of our local economy. We hope these renewing members are seeing increased value for their membership in the Pasadena Chamber.

For 2013-14, Joan De Souza of Joan's Candles and Gifts recruited the most new members to the Chamber. She won a free full-color ad in our 2014 Business Directory, Community and Visitor Guide as a reward. With the new fiscal year, our recruitment efforts and incentive begins again. The company that refers the most new members between July 1, 2013, and June 30, 2014, will receive a FREE full color ad in the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce Business Directory, Visitor and Community Guide.   • Push Pull Cardio, a TRX Premier training facility, is pleased to announce that it will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for its newly launched fitness training studio onsite at 3:30PM on November 1, 2014. We’re happy to introduce our latest accomplishment to the Pasadena community and those who helped bring this project to fruition. The event will be held at our new fitness studio located at 1304 E Colorado Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91106 from 3:30PM to 4:30PM. Please join us as we celebrate the growth of Push Pull Cardio and commemorate the opening of our new fitness studio.   • Created by childhood friends Joseph Lifschutz and Tommy Ngan, Ice-Cream Lab is the first and original made-to-order ice cream shop in the U.S.A. that offers a healthier alternative to traditional ice cream, using only locally sourced natural ingredients.  This “delicious experiment” uses cutting-edge liquid nitrogen technology to instantly produce the freshest ice cream with zero preservatives, that is 100% kosher and even offers a gluten-free or vegan option for all to enjoy! Completely self funded by the two young entrepreneurs, the first location was opened in Beverly Hills in March 2013 and is now expanding to Pasadena with the grand opening taking place on October 29th, 2014 with a special ribbon cutting ceremony by city officials taking place at 3pm!  Their expansion plans will continue thereafter with locations opening in Little Tokyo, Irvine, and Westlake Village in addition to international openings in Dubai and Panama by early next year.
