New Restaurants, Favorite Chefs, Best Pasadena Dining Destinations Offer Special Meals and Deals During Pasadena Restaurant Week
Finest Pasadena Restaurants Invite Southern California to Redefine How You Dine during Restaurant Week from April 26 to May 1, 2015
Pasadena’s restaurant community opens its doors for Pasadena Restaurant Week which takes place from Sunday, April 26th through Friday, May 1st. The public is invited to visit many of Pasadena’s finest, and most unique, dining establishments for special menus and more. A complete list of restaurants and menus are posted at www.pasadenarestaurantweek.com.
Pasadena Restaurant Week is a citywide event featuring the cuisine of many of Pasadena’s top dining establishments. Participating restaurants will offer at least three fixed price dinner and/or lunch menu items for visitors. Dinners will be three-course meals while lunches will be two course meals. Depending on the venue and menu offered, meals will be priced at $15, $20 or $25 for lunch or $27, $36 or $45 for dinner. (Some prices may vary. Alcoholic beverages, gratuity and tax are not included in the price.)
This year, new Pasadena restaurants joining Pasadena Restaurant Week include Chef Claud Beltran’s newest Bacchus’ Kitchen, Del Frisco’s Grille, Magnolia House and the Dusit D2 Constance Hotel Restaurant.
Restaurants offering special creations for Pasadena Restaurant Week include:
- The Raymond who offers a wide menu variety including a first course Mexican Shrimp and Corn Soup a Second Course of 72 Hour Braised Short Ribs and The 5th paradise for dessert.
- a/k/a Bistro offers Grilled and Sautéed Wild Calamari or Pacific Coast Mussels.
- Green Street Restaurant features favorites from the menu, including Mackey’s Chopped Steak and Pasta Primavera with ice cream, housemade cookies or brownie Squares for dessert.
- Ruth’s Chris Steak House offers a 12oz. Ribeye, Veal Chop or Garlic Crusted Sea Bass for dinner and a dessert duo pairing consisting of individual white Chocolate raspberry cheese cake paired with chocolate almond bark.
- Celestino Ristorante and Bar offers many specials, including a delicious Zuppe de Calamari, entrees of Ravioli di Asparagi con Salsa di Mascarpone and Scaloppini di Vitello con Funghi and Cannoli alla Siciliana for dessert.
- El Cholo offers a special tequila tasting option (for an additional charge).
Many of the Pasadena Restaurant Week participants are award winners.
- Bistro 45 regularly appears on Wine Spectators Best Oflists.
- Celestino Ristorante has received the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence, as well. Pasadena’s
- Pie ‘n Burger was recognized by Gourmet magazine on its list of Top 10 Burgers in the US for 2010.
- Chef Hirose Akira of Maison Akira has been recognized internationally for his Asian/French fusion cuisine.
