In partnership with the Pasadena Unified School District office of College and Career Pathways, the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce placed fifty (50) student interns with local businesses this summer.
When $30,000 of support from the City of Pasadena Department of Human Services and Recreation and didn't materialize due to unsurmountable procedural issues, the Chamber decided to crowdfund to provide stipends to our summer youth interns.
You can help provide that support by donating as little or as much as you can. Donations are tax-deductible.
We are seeking $10,000 to provide a small stipend for each student intern.
Interns are spending the summer learning about our hospitality industry, law and government, health careers, public service, restaurant business and much more.
You can support these students in their efforts and provide funding to modestly reward these deserving young people for their dedication and instriousness during the summer.
100% of funds received by the Chamber will be used to fund stipends for these students.
Everyone who donates will be recognized and thanked publicly.
Thank you for supporting our young people.
