At Stone Company Store Pasadena, we equally revere ALL Stone Brewing Co. beers, even the ones we have on draft 365 days a year, as they are all most definitely out-of-the-ordinary. With that said, occasionally we are able to offer full-on extraordinary beers, i.e., ones that are rare, one-off, vintage, barrel-aged, experimental, etc. Generally, we have one of these "specialty" draft beers come online every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with a "specialty" bottle release every Sunday. Here's a small sample of the extraordinary beers headed our way in the next couple of weeks.

Monday, February 9
Stone Enjoy By 03.14.15 IPA, the Pi Day edition of our “Devastatingly Fresh” imperial IPA, is set for release today. As it is brewed NOT to last, the closer to bottling/kegging you enjoy this beer, the better. It’ll be available in 22oz bottles ($7.25 + tax/CRV each) and on draft for growler fills (no limits!) & in-house pours.
Tuesday, February 10
Today, we tap just one keg of 2008 Double Bastard Ale, an 11% bruiser of a beer that mellows wonderfully with age. Rounded caramel notes, assertive but not aggressive hop bitterness, and a hint of alcohol warmth await you. Limit up to 2 liters per customer for growler fills.
Friday, February 13
Despite what the superstitious might say, today is anything but unlucky. We plan to bring back a few kegs of 2014 Stone Imperial Russian Stout. Big-bodied, with huge bitter chocolate flavor, this would be a fabulous beer to pair with almost any rich Valentine’s Day dessert. Limit up to 2 liters per customer for growler fills.

Super-rare vintage bottle re-release today! We’ll have a very limited number of Quingenti Millilitre (500 mL) bottles of Green Flash/Pizza Port Carlsbad/Stone Highway 78 Scotch Ale aged in Scotch Whisky Barrels: "Wagner" Blend available. Richly peaty & smoky, it’s an intense marriage of Scotch & beer. Limit one bottle per customer, priced $19 + tax/CRV each.
