The workshop will be held in room 122 at the Pasadena Community College Community Education Center at 3035 East Foothill Boulevard in Pasadena. Parking is $2 in the student parking lot.
Navigating the New California Paid Sick Leave Law is presented by the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce and the Small Business Development Center at Pasadena City College.

Dr. Carlyle Rogers is a human resources, compliance and employment law expert with over 25 years’ of multi-state and international corporate, consulting and BPO experience.
Throughout his corporate tenure he led the strategic and tactical management of HR, legal, ethics, training, safety, security, and operations in senior executive roles for global companies including CAO, VP HR, VP Operations, and Director HR & Legal.
His consulting/BPO career has included providing coaching, guidance, strategy and solutions to companies across most industries, ranging from start-up to some of the top 25 largest global employers including Johnson & Johnson and Ford Motor Company. He is currently leads the HR and Compliance Consulting Services for Pasadena based payroll and HR technology company HigherUp (www.gohigherup.com) and the Business & People Strategy Consulting Group (www.bpscllc.com).
Dr. Rogers currently possesses doctorates in jurisprudence (JD; law) and psychology (PsyD). He is also a certified advanced Interrogator and the author of HR book, “Dirty Little Secrets: Declassifying the Employment Game.”
