If you receive an email from someone you know requesting an action such as click here, download this, email me, send me your cell phone number, please check the return email address. Often the familiar name is linked to an unknown email address.

Spoofers are using legitimate names and disguising return email addresses to get your data and information.

Be very careful about providing any information.

As an example, you may get an email similar to this one:

From: Paul Little President <gary_scott47@aol.com>
Sent: Thursday, February 22, 2018 4:20:28 PM
To: Kelly Shearer
Subject: Hi Kelly

Hi

How are you doing, kindly email me your personal cell phone number thank you.

If you do, please note the return email address is different than the real one and ignore the email. Do not click reply or send any information. THIS IS A SCAM!
