The Legislative Networking Reception is a great opportunity to meet and network with local elected officials, district staff, and our state legislators, county supervisors, and Congressional representatives. Attendees include city council members, city staff, businesses and employers, and water and school board members. We are still expecting additional RSVPs, but Rep. Grace Napolitano (D-El Monte), Supervisor Mike Antonovich, and Asm. Ed Chau (D-Arcadia) have confirmed their attendance.
The Economic Outlook Breakfast provides an in-depth analysis of how the San Gabriel Valley economy is performing, what industries are expected to grow and which ones may be struggling. This year, we’ll have a special panel to discuss the cost of energy in California and how it affects businesses across the state. The panel features the chair of the California Energy Commission Robert Weisenmiller, the president and CEO of the Southern California Gas Company, Dennis Arriola, and the executive director of the California Business Round Table, Robert Lapsley.
