Dear Chamber of Commerce Member:
My name is Jon Hamblen, and I’m the Parking Manager for the City of Pasadena. I’m writing in hopes that you can assist me in spreading the word about an issue that residents and visitors to our City frequently complain about to our office.
No Overnight Parking from 2:00 a.m. – 6:00 a.m.
In case you were not aware, the City of Pasadena has an ordinance that restricts on street overnight parking between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. While we are taking steps to increase signage throughout the City, it would be extremely helpful if you would consider sharing this information with your customers. For the record, we do sell temporary permits that allow for on-street overnight parking. Those permits can be purchased online by visiting our website at http://ww5.cityofpasadena.net/transportation/parking-permits/. They can also be purchased at 5 kiosks placed throughout the City.
Those kiosks are located at:
- Pasadena Police Department, 207 N. Garfield Ave.;
- Fire Station #32, 2424 E. Villa St.;
- Fire Station #33, 515 N. Lake Ave.;
- Fire Station #34,1360 E. Del Mar Blvd.;
- Fire Station #36, 1140 N. Fair Oaks Ave.
Please feel free to share my contact information below with your managers and staff. My staff and I are here as resources to you and your customers, and I’d like to help answer questions and solve issues before they become problems! If you are willing to display and/or distribute information at your business regarding the overnight parking ordinance, please let me know via email at jhamblen@cityofpasadena.net. I’ll have staff bring by some flyers and small business sized notes to help us get the word out!
Thanks for your time.
Sincerely,
Jon Hamblen
