Pasadena Chamber After Hours Social and Mixer is October 17th at Monte Cedro
Monte Cedro at 2212 El Molino Avenue in Altadena hosts our October Pasadena Chamber After Hours social and mixer. No need to RSVP. Just come out and enjoy a casual get-together with appetizers courtesy of Monte Cedro. See the beautiful new residential community for seniors and enjoy drinks and food as you network and socialize with fellow Chamber members and friends. Taste of Pasadena is October 10th at the Rose Bowl
The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Taste of Pasadena event at the Rose Bowl on Thursday, October 10, 2019, from 6pm to 9pm. No more than 500 tickets will be sold to the Taste of Pasadena in the Court of Champions in front of the Rose Bowl. No long lines. No waiting for food and drink. Entertainment will be provided by Dance Syndicate. Advanced tickets are $35 per person in advance and available at www.pasadena-chamber.org/forms/taste-pasadena-and-sip-tember-finale. Those who do not register and pay in advance pay $75 at the door.
This year’s confirmed participants include La Grande Orange Café, Granville, SHIRO, El Cholo, Paradis, Clearman’s Northwoods Inn, Dave and Busters, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Stark Spirits and many more.
We are hosting this in conjunction with our SIP-tember Cocktail Bracket Challenge Live Finale and cocktail tasting. At the end of the event, we will tally votes of the live cocktail tasting and announce Pasadena’s Favorite Cocktail for 2019.

The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce and Verizon invite leaders of business and industry to a forum on the local economy and the future of business in Pasadena at the seventh Pasadena Business and Economic Summit. Join us on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at 11:30am at The University Club at 175 North Oakland Avenue in Pasadena.
Will Pasadena’s Prosperity Endure? features presentations and discussions by exonomic experts and industry leaders. Cost to attend is $50 and includes valet parking and lunch. A corporate table of eight, including signage and recognition on the program, costs $400.
Somjita Mitra, Ph.D., Director of the Institute for Applied Economics at the Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation will give an overview of the economy, including factors that could influence our local prosperity, focusing on the San Gabriel Valley and Pasadena. Pasadena Economic Development Manager Eric Duyshart will highlight Pasadena development and economic contributors. Colleen Carey, Founding Principal of Lee & Associates will discuss current trends in retail and office leasing, including challenges faced in Pasadena. Mike Ross, CEO of the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, Convention Center and Convention & Visitors Bureau will discuss travel, tourism and hospitality and communication technologies and the impact on local business and industry. Jesus Roman, Vice President of State Government Affairs, Public Policy & Legal Affairs for Verizon will discuss the potential impact of 5G communication technology on Pasadena businesses and our economy.
