At Stone Company Store Pasadena, we equally revere ALL Stone Brewing Co. beers, even the ones we have on draft 365 days a year, as they are

all most definitely out-of-the-ordinary. With that said, occasionally we are able to offer full-on extraordinary beers, i.e., ones that are rare, one-off, vintage, barrel-aged, experimental, etc. Generally, we have one of these "specialty" draft beers come online every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with a "specialty" bottle release every Sunday. Here's a small sample of the extraordinary beers headed our way in the next week.

Note: for all to-go beer (e.g., growlers, bottles, kegs), everyone in your party must be 21+ and in possession of valid, government-issued ID.

Tuesday, February 24

Today, we’ll start pouring through a keg of the small-batch creation, Stone Bang Bang (Red Ale aged in Bourbon Barrels). Caramelly aromas & flavors dominate, driven by both the malt and spirits, but the beer retains a moderate 7.5% ABV and drinks cleanly.

Thursday, February 26

Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens - Liberty Station Zombie Love Potion will be back on tap after a full year away! It’s a little late for Valentine’s Day, but there’s no bad time for a chocolate, pomegranate porter.

Friday, February 27

2015 Stone Old Guardian Barley Wine - Extra Hoppy, the Odd Beers for Odd Years version of this year’s toffee-like, bittersweet, double-digit ABV monster, returns to our taps today for growler fills and in-house pours. The only difference (but it’s a big one!) between the classic version & this one is assertive dry-hopping with Azacca, which results in intense tropical fruit aromas.

Sunday, March 1

Today we re-release a limited quantity of 22oz bottles of 2009 Double Bastard Ale, the hulking big brother to our infamous Arrogant Bastard Ale. Limit one bottle per customer, priced at $12.50 + tax/CRV.

Monday, April 6

At 7 PM, we’re hosting another Stone Beer U, this time covering beer & cheese! Certified Cicerones® Ryan & Kendell will walk you through five thoughtfully paired beer-cheese samples and drop some knowledge about the blissful marriage that exists between craft beer & artisanal cheese. Tickets are $20 and are on sale now in-store!
