At Stone Company Store Pasadena, we equally revere ALL Stone Brewing Co. beers, even the ones we have on draft 365 days a year, as they are all most definitely out-of-the-ordinary. With that said, occasionally we are able to offer full-on extraordinary beers, i.e., ones that are rare, one-off, vintage, barrel-aged, experimental, etc. Generally, we have one of these "specialty" draft beers come online every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with a "specialty" bottle release every Sunday. Here's a small sample of the extraordinary beers headed our way in the next week.

Note: for all to-go beer (e.g., growlers, bottles, kegs), everyone in your party must be 21+ and in possession of valid, government-issued ID.

Think Ireland’s most famous beer, then make it 9.5% ABV. Stone Imperial Irish Stout, which comes back on draft today, has the deep coffee and cocoa notes of a classic dry stout, but with much higher alcohol content (although surprisingly little alcohol “heat.”) It was a hit when it was on tap for St. Paddy’s Day, and it has held up wonderfully since then.

Two small-batch beers from our experimental brewhouse debut on draft today. Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens - Liberty Station Outbreak Series (Red Ale) and Hop Squander 2015. The first is rich and malt forward, balanced by hops; the second is pure hop madness, slightly balanced with malt.

Our “Best in Show” Stone Spotlight: Imperial Mutt Brown Ale is back on tap today! It’s easy to taste how this brew beat so many others in our yearly intrabrewery competition.

Sunday, May 31

Stone Saison, part of our Stone Rotator Series of beers, rotates back today! We don’t generally believe that beers have a strict seasonality to them, but Stone Saison is the perfect summer quaffer. It’s dry, herbal, spicy with a moderate alcohol content. In addition, we re-release 22oz bottles of 2006 Double Bastard Ale. (Yes, nearly 9 years old!)
