The City of Pasadena and the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce invite leaders of business and industry in Pasadena discuss our local economy, their industries and the future of business in Pasadena at the third Pasadena Business and Economic Summit on Thursday, October 29, 2015, from 11:30am to 1:30pm at The University Club at  175 North Oakland Avenue in Pasadena. Free parking is available in the lots adjacent to the east side of the Rose Bowl.

Cost to attend the second Pasadena Business and Economic Summit is $50 and includes the program, lunch and parking. A corporate table of eight, which includes signage and recognition on the program, costs $400.     

The City of Pasadena and the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce join forces to present the discussion of the economic health and the future of business in Pasadena.The Pasadena Business and Economic Summit isgererously underwritten by the City of Pasadena. Wells Fargo also sponsors the 2015 Business and Economic Summit.

Pasadena Mayor Terry Tornek will welcome guests.

Jerry McCall of Kaiser Permanente discussed healthcare, the ACA and Kaiser's expanison in Southern California.
Cynthia Kurtz, President and Chief Executive Officer of the San Gabriel Valley Economc Partnership will provide and overview of the regional and local economy and discussion of issues, concerns and trends for 2015-16.  

The Pasadena Business and Economic Summit will include a brief update on development activity in Pasadena by Economic Development manager Eric Duyshart. A panel discussion will be moderated by Karl Bird, Acquisitions Department manager at Jet Propulsion Laboratory.  Featured panelists include Dr. Lorne M. Buchman, President of Art Center College of Design, Julia S. Gouw, President and Chief Operating Offier of East West Bank and Randy Britt, Director of Sustainability with Parsons Corporation.
