At Stone Company Store Pasadena, we equally revere ALL Stone Brewing Co. beers, even the ones we have on draft 365 days a year, as they are all most definitely out-of-the-ordinary. With that said, occasionally we are able to offer full-on extraordinary beers, i.e., ones that are rare, one-off, vintage, barrel-aged, experimental, etc. Generally, we have one of these "specialty" draft beers come online every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with a "specialty" bottle release every Sunday. Here's a small sample of the extraordinary beers headed our way in the next week.
Note: for all to-go beer (e.g., growlers, bottles, kegs), everyone in your party must be 21+ and in possession of valid, government-issued ID.

Yesterday, July 26th saw the release of two much-anticipated Quingenti Millilitre barrel-aged creations: XOCOVEZA CHARRED (Chris Banker/Stone/Insurgente Xocoveza Mocha Stout Aged in Bourbon Barrels) and XOCOVEZA EXTRA AÑEJO (Chris Banker/Stone/Insurgente Xocoveza Mocha Stout Aged in Red Wine & Tequila Barrels). Supplies are limited, so we’re keeping a limit of 3 bottle per style per customer, with each priced at $18 + tax/CRV.
Tuesday, July 28th, we tap one keg of 2014 Stone Old Guardian Barley Wine, a favorite sipper of anyone who loves bold, complex, heady brews. Caramelly malt meets assertive hop backbone in an 11.6% ABV package. Limit up to 2 liters per customer for growler fills.
Thursday, July 30th we have two limited-release beers that exemplify truly creative recipe building. Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens - Liberty Station Kevin Eastman & Kris Ketcham “It’s Pizza Time” is a pizza-inspired saison, accented with basil, oregano, fennel, pineapple & jalapeño. Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens - Liberty Station Aisha Tyler & Kris Ketcham “Stone Cold Fox” is a chocolate orange black IPA, brewed in collaboration with actress, voice artist, & all-around awesome lady, Aisha Tyler. No limits on growler fills of either beer.
Friday, July 31st we will feature a new barrel-aged brew from our small-batch team, Stone Barrel-Aged Brown Ale w/Montmorency Sour Cherries. Tart cherry flavor & red wine fruitiness combine with chocolatey malt character to make for a palate-pleasing almost-sour beer.
Sunday, August 2nd, our vintage bottle release will be 2009 Stone Old Guardian Barley Wine, which, yes, even at 6 years old, is still absolutely top-notch! Limit one bottle per customer, priced at $13.25 + tax/CRV.
Monday, August 3rd is the tentative release date of Stone Enjoy By 09.02.15 IPA, our “Devastatingly Fresh” hop-blasted double IPA. It will be available in 22oz bottles & on draft, with no limits on either.
