Based on popular demand, PopPay will host its 11 DAYS of HAPPY HOUR event in Old Town Pasadena from October 15 – 25, 2020 daily between the hours of 4-6pm. An amazing group of local restaurants will participate during this event!
Based in Pasadena, PopPay has focused on bringing the local community together. Our goal is to help develop long-lasting relationships between consumers and local businesses, large and small, by offering exclusive offers and experiences at a number of locations.
For eleven days only we will give locals the opportunity to stop by their favorite participating restaurants throughout the Old Town Pasadena area. The demand for company participation is always greater than the supply of available spots. Once we hit our capacity we will stop adding new companies. So don’t wait too long!
How you can participate in our upcoming event:
- Offer a unique happy hour menu: a special experience (i.e. exclusive and/or packaged menu items) or simply a meaningful discount. Your call! We ask you to offer a “Bar menu” to include 3-6 of your most popular items. We know each company has a different rhythm so we leave it up to you. Our intention is to promote top Pasadena restaurants like yours.
- Promote the event to your community. A week before the event goes live we need you to distribute marketing materials to your guests (including to-go orders) and send out an email to introduce the event to your community. The more we collectively promote the event, the better for everyone! We will provide all marketing materials to you at no cost.
- Accept PopPay as the payment method. Participating companies need to use PopPay to accept payments for their “cocktail menu” during the event. PopPay is a touch-free payment solution that uses the face to process transactions at the significantly reduced pricing of 1.5% + 11 cents (regardless of credit card type). PopPay works as an add-on solution to your existing POS, so you don't have to change or replace anything. For a limited time, we're offering our PopPay tablets (including installation) FREE of charge!
What’s in it for the locals?
During the 11 Days of Happy Hour, new PopPay members will receive up to $25 from us to spend at all our participating restaurants. All they need to do is to sign up and pay with their face!
