SIP and Savor ends Monday, December 30th at 7pm

Enjoy three festive days of delicious sipping and savoring outside the Rose Bowl Stadium on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, December 28 to 30, courtesy the Tournament of Roses.

Sip and Savor Pasadena is an open-air festival offering guests the opportunity to sample an impressive array of savory menu items from dozens of Southern California’s favorite eateries, and sample the products of some of the most notable West Coast wineries and local and national craft breweries.

The festival begins on the same day as Decorating Places, one of the other major events in the run-up to the Tournament of Roses, opens to the public. A VIP ticket to Sip and Savor Pasadena gives ticket holders expedited entry to Decorating Places, where experienced professionals and hard-working volunteers put the finishing touches on the floats that will be part of the Rose Parade on New Year’s Day.

No one goes away hungry from the event, as guests can nosh, munch, taste, and enjoy an array of savory and sweet items representing the fun and inventiveness of the Southern California food scene.

A listing on the Sip and Savor website already names over 20 of So Cal’s top restaurants and local Pasadena brands, representing a delectable collection of samplings for all tastes and ages. The list grows daily, the organizers said.

The list also shows about the same number of regional wine producers from California and Oregon, and regional and local craft breweries, offering samplings during Sip and Savor Pasadena.

Over the course of three days, Sip and Savor Pasadena will feature outstanding bands and performers in Southern California taking the main stage at the Rose Bowl’s Parking Lot I, among them the GRAMMY Award-winning Mariachi Divas, DJ Wendy Walker, Crimson Apple, Suburban Legends, Just Press Play, and Tomasina.

Holy Crow Jazz band will also be entertaining at the venue, as well as Magic Castle magician Johnny Ace Palmer.

Sip and Savor Pasadena opens for general admission at 1 p.m. up to 7 p.m., with VIP early entry at 12 noon.

Tickets are $60 for general admission, ages 13 and up ($50 when purchased online), with kids ages 4 to12 at $10 each. VIP admission is $125 online, $135 at the door.
