New California law requires e-filing of payroll taxes, wage reports

New Law Requires Employers to Electronically File and Pay Payroll Taxes (Assembly Bill 1245)

•    Requires employers with 10 or more employees to electronically file their employment tax returns, wage reports, and payroll tax deposits beginning January 1, 2017.
•    Requires employers with less than 10 employees to electronically file their employment tax returns, wage reports, and payroll tax deposits beginning January 1, 2018.
