Brews news from Stone Company Store

At Stone Company Store Pasadena, we equally revere ALL Stone Brewing Co. beers, even the ones we have on draft 365 days a year, as they are all most definitely out-of-the-ordinary. With that said, occasionally we are able to offer full-on extraordinary beers, i.e., ones that are rare, one-off, vintage, barrel-aged, experimental, etc. Generally, we have one of these "specialty" draft beers come online every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with a "specialty" bottle release every Sunday. Here's a small sample of the extraordinary beers headed our way in the next week.

Note: for all to-go beer (e.g., growlers, bottles, kegs), everyone in your party must be 21+ and in possession of valid, government-issued ID.

Monday, June 1

Stone Saison, part of our Stone Rotator Series of beers, rotates back today! We don’t generally believe that beers have a strict seasonality to them, but Stone Saison is the perfect summer quaffer. It’s dry, herbal, spicy with a moderate alcohol content.

In addition, Stone Enjoy By 07.04.15 IPA is finally here, along with its counterpart, Stone Enjoy After 07.04.16 Brett IPA! The first is our super-fresh, hop-blasted, much-beloved imperial IPA, meant to be enjoyed ASAP, and the second is the same beer, inoculated with a strain of funky Brettanomyces yeast that is intended to be aged for a long while before popping.

2014 Stone Imperial Russian Stout is our draft specialty offering today! There’ll be no growler fill limits on this onyx, viscous, dark chocolatey goodness.

Thursday, June 4

Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens - Liberty Station Lifeblood, our infamously balanced, so-so-drinkable brown ale is back on tap for growler fills and tasters today.

Friday, June 5

Our newest 2015 Stone Collaboration, Ecliptic/Wicked Weed/Stone Points Unknown IPA (which is technically a tequila-and-red-wine-barrel-aged Belgian-style tripel blended with a west-coast-style IPA) returns to our taps today! Although it may sound like a cacophony of flavor, it is top-notch on the palate. No limit on growler fills.

Sunday, June 7

Awesome beer re-release today, in the form of Quingenti Millilitre (500 mL) bottles of Spice Oddity (Stone 12.12.12 Vertical Epic Ale aged in Red Wine Barrels)! Belgian yeast character, complementary vinous fruit, wonderfully dry finish. It’s a must-have to enjoy now or to cellar for later.
