Comment as LA County considers minimum wage increases, comment on METRO budget

The Department of Consumer and Business Affairs hosted a series of business forums throughout the County to provide small business owners the opportunity to comment on a possible minimum wage increase, as part of a Board-directed study to review the potential economic impact.

Restaurant owners and operators are encouraged to attend an upcoming forum to ensure their voices are heard.

  3. You will be asked to answer a few optional demographic questions, and then you can leave your comments on a potential minimum wage increase.

Provide Input on Metro’s Budget

Metro’s annual budget sets transportation priorities across Los Angeles County for the coming year. The budget for the 2016 fiscal year, which will be effective July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016, will be presented to the Metro Board of Directors for approval in May 2015.

Metro will also hold a public hearing to gather comments on the proposed budget at that meeting:
