June 15  -  August  15 - Ages 7  -  12 

Your child will have an exciting, fun-filled learning experience in our beautiful Museum of American History and Education Center!

A PLACE OF DISCOVERY, EXPLORATION  AND ENTERTAINMENT

Our classes and art lessons are taught by school teachers and other professionals.  Our class sizes are small so your child will be given individual attention. Your child will enjoy the following as a part of the Camp Experience:

1.  Professional art lessons given by a famous Western artist and others.

2.  Country Western music lessons and Square Dancing.

3.  Native Indian Dances and Drums, Sign Language.

4.  Quilt making classes from the Western Frontier days.

5.  Western Prairie Cooking - from the "Little House Cookbook".

6.  Art lessons and history  -  Navajo rugs and blankets.

7.  A study 15 different California Indian Tribes.

8.  The railroad, Gold Rush, Wagon Trains, and Women of the West.

9.  Movies, DVD's on " How the West was Won" and Little House on the Prairie Series.

10.Live appearances and entertainment from Native Indians and Western Cowboys.
