Redefine How You Dine as 40 of Pasadena's finest (and favorite)restaurants offer great meals at terrific prices during Pasadena Restaurant Week April 27 to May 2.

 

Pasadena’s restaurant community comes together for Pasadena Restaurant Week April 27 to May 2. Many local restaurants offer special prix fixe menus with two courses for lunch, offered at either $15, $20 or $25 and three courses for dinner, offered at $26, $35 or $44. (Some prices vary. Beverages, tax and tip not included.)

During Pasadena Restaurant Week, 40 local favorites and new Pasadena dining destinations celebrate the diversity, quality and inventiveness of our local culinary community. From burgers to Boeuf Bourguignon, diners can taste the full range of culinary experience at prices that meet every budget from April 27 to May 2. 

Diners can choose from brunch or a dinner of Royce Grilled Salad, Marinated Skirt Steak and Molten Chocolate Cake at the Royce Wood Fired Steak House at the Langham Huntington Pasadena for an amazing $44 price; or they can enjoy Chicken Wings Karaage, Kagoshima Wague Aburi Bowl with Miso Soup and Vanilla Ice with Chocolate Fudge at Zilin Restaurant for $25; or perhaps a $10.95 Cheeseburger, Fries and Soft Drink combo at Pie ‘n Burger.

Looking for a new dining experience? Guests can enjoy an appetizer and entree for lunch at Kal's Bistro for $15, or try Zilin for a $26 dinner of Brussels and kimchi, Sweet bbq ribs and Kalamansi cheesecake. For $18 for lunch or dinner, you can enjoy a choice of any two sausages and one side dish, including the choice of one selection of domestic beer or soda at newly opened PICNIK at 168 in Old Pasadena. At Osek in Old Pasadena, diners can enjoy Mandu Salad or Crispy golden brown dumplings over fresh vegetables with OSEK dressing, Haemul Pajeon, pan fried green onion pancake filled with various seafood and en entrée of Galbi Jjim, thick cuts of beef short ribs and vegetables braised slowly in our soy sauce with dessert of sweet rice cake ice cream. For $20, SECO New American offers Shisito Poppers stuffed with chorizo, goat cheese, shaved manachgo and remoulade, with an entrée of penne arribiato.

We are very pleased to have many new participants this year. Though it is great to have so many of Pasadena’s renowned dining destinations included again for 2014.

A $35 Pasadena Restaurant Week dinner at Celestino Ristorante and Bar can include Zuppe di Calamari, Scaloppine di Vitello con Funghi and Cannoli alla Siciliana. Kal’s Bistro in Old Pasadena is offering a Small Dip Appetizer, Salad, Skewer and Steak on the Grill and Dessert (or a glass of house wine of champagne) for $26. At Malbec, diners can enjoy Tomato and Gorgonzola, Ahi Tuna with Pepper Stew and Pears Crepe with Caramel for $35. Trattoria Neapolis offers Sicilian Meatballs followed by a Half Roasted Chicken and a Bombolini dessert for $35.

Kathleen's, long a favorite on North Lake Avenue, offers a $15 lunch menu that includes Spinach Fettuccine with Grilled Chicken and Mushrooms in a Tarragon and their signature dessert, Chocolate Velvet Cream Cheese Cake. At Green Street Restaurant, you can enjoy a dinner of Dianne Salad Cups - their famous salad in baked wonton cups, followed with a delicious Mackey’s Chopped Steak -with grilled onions and their signature steak sauce with housemade cookies for dessert, all for $26. Roy’s Restaurant offers a dinner of short rib and mushroom dim sum, followed by seared salmon and carrot cake for dessert for $44.

Burger lovers can choose from favorite Pie ‘n Burger, Rounds Premium Burgers or Slater’s 50/50. Discounts and special meal prices are being offered at ERl Cholo, Dona Rosa, Pie ‘n Burger and Rounds Premium Burgers. Slater’s 50/50 offers a two-meal special for dinner for $26.
