SIP-tember: a celebration of the cocktail reaches its dramatic conclusion with the Cocktail Bracket Challenge Finale on September 26th at the historic Rose Bowl in Pasadena. Online voting is over and the four finalist cocktails have been selected. The four cocktails that will face-off in the SIP-tember Finale are: The CC Crush from the Taproom at the Langham Pasadena; The Bourbon Blackberry Collins from Green Street Restaurant; the Arugula Rocket from Kal's Mediterrranean Bistro and the Cucumber Skini-Tini from Toro Sushi Bar Lounge.
64 cocktails began the SIP-tember Cocktail Bracket Challenge on August 15th. Voting over the past six weeks has pared the contestants down to the four finalist cocktails. The four finalist cocktails will be served up in a live competition from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Those in attendance will vote to determine Pasadena’s Cocktail of the Year 2013. The favorite cocktail will be announced at 8:45pm.
The Pasadena Chamber hosts the second Taste of Pasadena and SIP-tember Finale at the Rose Bowl as a Pasadena Restaurant Week event. Guests can enjoy unlimited food and drink tastings from many of Pasadena’s finest restaurants and help decide which SIP-tember cocktail is Pasadena’s favorite.
