Pasadena Chamber After Hours Social and Mixer at Foothill on September 20th
Join Pasadena Chamber members and friends at our monthly Pasadena Chamber After Hours Social and Mixer on Thursday, September 20th, from 5pm to 7pm. The March mixer is sponsored by Foothill at 2835 East Foothill Boulevard in Pasadena. Enjoy delicious margaritas, light refreshments and appetizers as you mix and mingle. There is free parking in the lot beside the restaurant and on the street. Admission is free for Chamber members. All others pay $10. No need to RSVP, just show up for friendship, networking and fun.

Through a partnership with Citslinc, International, the Chamber is offering a cost effective trip to China on October 10 to October 20, 2019. The trip includes stops in Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou and Hangzhou with opportunities to visit historic sites like the Great Wall of China and Tian An Men Square. There is also an opportunity to visit with a local Chinese business. The meeting is optional and requires filling out an inquiry form indicating what type of business or industry you are interested in learning more about.
Cost for the trip is $2099 for Pasadena Chamber members (and their families) and $2199 for prospective members. Single occupancy and airfare upgrades are an addtional cost. There are additional costs for visa application (or you can obtain that yourself at the Chinese Consulate in Los Angeles).

Taste of Pasadena returns to the Rose Bowl September 13th - get your tickets now!
Taste of Pasadena and SIP-tember Finale at the Rose Bowl September 13, 2018, from 6pm to 9pm. Advanced tickets are $30 each. Advanced ticket sales end September 11th. Please feel free to join us at the event. Charge for entry at the door is $60 per person.
Pasadena's favorite restaurants showcase their food samples. Many offer drink samples, as well. The four finalist cocktails in the SIP-tember Cocktail Bracket Challenge are available for tasting. Guests vote for their favorite. Pasadena's Favorite Cocktail 2018 is crowned at 8:45pm. Entertainment by Dance Syndicate. All are included in the admission price. Only 500 tickets will be sold. No long lines. No waiting. Lots of fun.

SIP-tember: A Celebration of the Cocktail and the SIP-tember Cocktail Bracket Challenge online voting ends September 5th.
SIP-tember: A Celebration of the Cocktail and the SIP-tember Cocktail Bracket Challenge began August 1st. For the seventh year, restaurants and lounges across Pasadena will offer cocktails in competition. The SIP-tember Cocktail Bracket Challenge is an annual six week long competition among Pasadena Chamber of Commerce member restaurants and lounges. Taste the best libations Pasadena has to offer at White Horse Lounge, True Food Kitchen, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Otis Bar at La Grande Orange, Roy’s Hawaiian, Taproom at the Langham, Bistro 45, Fleming’s Prime Steak House, Vertical Wine Bistro and more.
SIP-tember competitors serve drinks that are paired against each other in a competition. Drinks being offered for the challenge include special margaritas, new interpretations of traditional cocktails and some specially created drinks from some of Pasadena’s premiere mixologists. Previous drinks named Pasadena’s favorite cocktail include the Broad Street Hurricane and Julio’s Passion from Ruth’s Chris Steak House, the Vin de Pomplemousse from Green Street Restaurant, White Horse Lounge’s Forbidden and The Ish from Sushi Roku, 2017’s Cocktail of the Year.
Once again, SIP-tember: A Celebration of the Cocktail culminates in a grand taste-off at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena on September 13th. The Sip-tember Cocktail Bracket Challenge Grand Finale is presented as part of the Taste of Pasadena by the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce as a Pasadena Restaurant Week event sponsored by The City of Pasadena, Wells Fargo, Sierra Family of Dealerships and the Rose Bowl.
