At Stone Company Store Pasadena, we equally revere ALL Stone Brewing Co. beers, even the ones we have on draft 365 days a year, as they are all most definitely out-of-the-ordinary. With that said, occasionally we are able to offer full-on extraordinary beers, i.e., ones that are rare, one-off, vintage, barrel-aged, experimental, etc. Generally, we have one of these "specialty" draft beers come online every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with a "specialty" bottle release every Sunday. Here's a small sample of the extraordinary beers headed our way in the next week.

Monday, August 31
Today marks the national release of Stochasticity Project Your Father Smelt of Elderberries, which, besides being very pleasing to the ears of Monty Python fans, is a hefty 10% ABV English ale brewed with elderberries & flaked oats. We’ll have it available on draft & in 22oz bottles.
Tuesday, September 1
Stone Imperial Irish Stout is back on draft today. Sort of like a hybrid of a silky Russian imperial stout & a classic Irish dry stout, it’s got espresso-like roastiness & a very bittersweet finish.
Thursday, September 3
Coloring outside prescribed style guidelines leads to delicious oxymorons like our award-winning black Witbier (literally, “black white beer”), Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens – Liberty Station Witty Moron. It’s under 5% ABV and drinks very light but packs a ton of Belgian yeast character & chocolate-coffee notes. It’ll be back on draft for growler fills & in-house tasters starting today.
Friday, September 4
There are two kinds of IPA fans out there: those who have fallen head over heels for Stone 19th Anniversary Thunderstruck IPA and those who have yet to try it. It’s back on draft today, so you can experience its tropical fruit-forward hoppiness & crisp, bitter finish for yourself.
Sunday, September 6
Rich, almost sensual 2013 Stone Imperial Russian Stout is our vintage bottle re-release today. We’ll have only a case on hand, however, so supplies will not last long! Limit one 22oz bottle per customer.
