At Stone Company Store Pasadena, we equally revere ALL Stone Brewing Co. beers, even the ones we have on draft 365 days a year, as they are all most definitely out-of-the-ordinary. With that said, occasionally we are able to offer full-on extraordinary beers, i.e., ones that are rare, one-off, vintage, barrel-aged, experimental, etc. Generally, we have one of these "specialty" draft beers come online every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with a "specialty" bottle release every Sunday. Here's a small sample of the extraordinary beers headed our way in the next couple of weeks.

Monday, November 17
Double beer release day! Stone Stochasticity Project Master of Disguise, a brand-new imperial golden stout, makes its debut at 11 AM. Its brilliant golden hue belies its chocolatey richness and coffee roastiness, making it a confusing delight for the senses. Also, we release the newest batch of our devastatingly fresh imperial India pale ale, Stone Enjoy By 12.26.14 IPA at 5 PM. Both beers will be on draft and in 22 oz. bottles.
Tuesday, November 18
Stone Reason Be Damned Belgian Style Abbey Ale aged in Red Wine Barrels will be on draft. It's hard to believe this single beer delivers such a vast array of flavors, with Belgian yeast-derived spice, vinous dark red fruit, and layered malt complexity.
Thursday, November 20
Smoked beers are challenging but rewarding. Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens - Liberty Station Ashy Staché, a small-batch IPA with a large helping of smoked malt will be on draft. Imagine grilled peaches turned into a beer. Delicious!
Sunday, November 23
We'll release 22 oz. bottles of 2007 Stone Imperial Russian Stout. Yes, a seven-year-old beer! For the drinker, that maturity means a mellow bitterness and well-integrated flavor profile. A rare and special experience.
Tuesday, November 25
Bourbon Barrel-Aged Arrogant Bastard Ale Stone w00tstout 2.0 Stone 12.12.12 Vertical Epic Ale The Tuesday before Thanksgiving will be a fairly epic day of specialty beers on draft, including Stone 12.12.12 Vertical Epic Ale (a spiced Belgian dark strong ale), Stone w00tstout 2.0 (a partially barrel-aged imperial stout, brewed with wheat, rye, pecans, and stone-ground chocolate), and the very limited Bourbon Barrel-Aged Arrogant Bastard Ale.
