
YWCA Glendale and Pasadena bring more than 211 years of combined histories of service to advance gender and racial equity with a shared mission of eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. Our programs include a 24/7 Domestic Violence Crisis Hotline, a 16-bed Domestic Violence Emergency Shelter, a Domestic Violence Community Services Center that provides case management, legal services, adult and child counseling, trauma-informed childcare, and housing navigation support, a Violence Prevention Education and Outreach Program, a Girls’ Empowerment Program that offers after school programming, summer camp and STEAM education workshops and 1:1 tutoring and mentorship, and Racial Justice Programming including policy advocacy, DEI training and consultation, the 21 Day Racial Equity and Social Justice Challenge and the Coalition for an Anti-Racist Glendale.
