Make Music Pasadena returns Saturday, June 6th

SCHEDULE OF MAIN STAGES AND MORE ARTISTS ANNOUNCED FOR MAKE MUSIC PASADENA

The West Coast’s Largest Free Music Festival Returns on Saturday, June 6,

with Six Main Stages and More Than 30 Supporting Venues

PASADENA, CA (May 2015) – Make Music Pasadena is excited to announce the festival schedule for the six main stages and many of the 30+ supporting venues that will host more than 150 performances on Saturday, June 6, from 11:00am until 11:00pm.  The West Coast’s largest free music festival has partnered with DoLA to bring our fans the interactive schedule now online at http://makemusicpasadena.dola.com/schedule. The mobile-friendly page can be used to create your own custom schedule, explore and pick your favorite artists, and see which of your friends are going. 

Crowds exceeding 50,000 are expected to attend this all-ages all-day event. This year’s lineup features performances by How to Dress Well, Sir Sly, Kishi Bashi, Hundred Waters, Nick Waterhouse, Kaleo, Caroline Smith, Lydia Ainsworth, Avid Dancer, and many more. Newly announced main stage performers include local favorites Kera & the Lesbians, Little Wolves (formerly Tapioca & the Flea), and Juliet Piper & the Daydream, as well as Alexandria Maillot of Toronto.

The six main stages are located throughout Downtown Pasadena:

  • Old Pasadena Stage on historic Colorado Boulevard
  • Playhouse District Stage presented by Hotel Constance dusitD2 pasadena with talent presented by SESAC
  • Levitt Pavilion Stage at Memorial Park presented by Lincoln Property Company
  • Bank of America’s Music Under the Stars featuring the Pasadena Symphony and POPS in Centennial Square at City Hall
  • Vroman’s Jazz Stage hosted by the Los Angeles College of Music
  • Paseo Colorado Stage featuring up and coming artists in the courtyard

More than 30 supporting venues offer various urban experiences both indoors and out. Some examples are:

  • Armory Center for the Arts will offer family friendly music and kids free activities all day.
  • Old Towne Pub, in the same back alley location since 1973, is featuring more than 12 hours of music (presented by Sherpa Music MGMT, Delavie TV, One Question Sessions)
  • The 35er Bar, also a Pasadena institution, will present various bands all day (presented by THRUST Drums).
  • Club 54 brings back the Stars & Streetlamps Stage with an entire day of urban music (presented by Open Kanvas).
  • Monopole Wine also includes an afternoon full of intimate performances in their shop.
  • Fuller Seminary returns with various outdoor acts on their campus courtyard.
  • Burbank Music Academy sponsors a student and alumni stage in Mercantile Place.

More venues and stage schedules will be added in the days leading up to the event.

Highlighting the Old Pasadena and Playhouse Districts, this event invites you to walk and explore the hundreds of area restaurants and boutiques. The Pasadena ARTS buses that link the main stages run free all day, as well as hosting live music on board.
