As a business in California, you are already regularly reviewing your books and records to determine if your business holds any property that is considered inactive. Inactive properties may be reported to the California State Controllers Office and held until a legal recipient is identified.

Cases: On Friday, September 22nd, Pasadena reported 22 new cases of COVID and no new fatalities. 99.9% of Pasadena's have had at least one does of the vaccine. 93% are fully vaccinated. The LA County Department of Health reported 1641 new cases on Saturday, September 23rd. (This includes cases in Pasadena and Long Beach which have their own health departments.) LA County reported 13 deaths on Saturday.

Cases: Pasadena Public Health reported 16 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, September 16th. There was one new fatality in the city. Pasadena has seen 35, 782 cases and 432 deaths since the pandemic began. LA County reported 1,944 new cases on Friday, September 16th and 16 deaths. LA County has recorded 3,437,648 cases and 33,447 deaths since the pandemic began. The 7-day daily average of cases is 5.65% per 100,000 people in LA County.

The Pasadena Police Foundation is hosting its annual breakfast in-person with Pasadena’s Honorable Mayor Victor Gordo and Interim Chief of Police, Jason Clawson at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 18, 2021.  The event will be held at the Pasadena Civic Center at 300 East Green Street Pasadena, CA 91101 in Ballroom D&E. Local paid parking is available at the Civic Center and across the street at the Paseo Parking Lot.

Cases: On Thursday, September 8th Pasadena reported 39 new cases of COVID-19 infection. There were no new fatalities in Pasadena. LA County reported another 1819 cases and 23 more fatalities.

Vaccine: The latest booster helps ward off Omicron variants of COVID-29. The vaccine has been approved and is becoming available as supplies arrive at local health and vaccine providers.
