On Saturday, November 29th we encourage everyone to patronize our local small businesses for Small Business Saturday. 

Small Business Saturday was created to encourage shopping at local retailers and restaurants.

The offices of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce will be closed for Thanksgiving on Thursday and Friday, November 27th and 28th.

The Chamber offices will be closed Christmas Eve, December 24th, and Christmas Day, December 25th. We will also be closed New Years Day, January 1st and will close at 1pm on New Years Eve.

Pasadena Sandwich Company, along with the Pasadena Fire Department and Pasadena Unified School District, is with great joy, hosting families in transition again for our 3rd Annual Thanksgiving Share a Meal. This community event is on Thanksgiving Day and allows families to come together and enjoy a warm Thanksgiving meal in a safe, joyous, and peaceful environment.

Some of the new laws for 2015, such as mandatory paid sick leave, make significant changes to California’s legal landscape. Other new laws make changes to different parts of existing law or may only affect employers in specified industries, such as farming.

Unless specified, the following list of new legislation goes into effect on January 1, 2015.

One of the highlights of our Chamber After Hours Social and Mixer calendar os the November event hosted by Joan's Candels and Home Decor and WOW! Event Productions and Public Relations. Don't miss some of Pasadena's favorite (and best) caterers and restaurants including Castle catering, El Portal and more. Dance Syndicate provides music, Pasadena Massage Company will be on hand providing relaxing massages.

In partnership with The First Tee of Pasadena, Pasadena Fire Department, and ABC 7’s Spark of Love Toy Drive, the team at Brookside Golf Club would like to invite you to attend our First Annual Spark of Love Golf Tournament and Toy Drive on December 5^th.  It will feature an 11:00am Shotgun Start on the beautiful E.O.

The City Clerk’s Office issued the Notice of Election for the March 10, 2015, Primary Nominating Election for the City Council and the Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD).  The official nomination period for candidates is open from Monday, Nov. 17, 2014, through Friday, Dec. 12, 2014.
