Inaugural Gala celebrates Pasadena business community, new and returning Board members and officers and Chair Karl Bird of JPL

Pasadena Chamber of Commerce members, community leaders and guests celebrate our business community at the annual Pasadena Chamber of Commerce Inaugural Gala on Friday, June 29, 2018. The hosted cocktail reception and silent auction begins at 6:00 p.m. at the Langham Huntington Hotel in Pasadena. Dinner and the festive program begins at 7:30pm. This year, the Chamber celebrates the installation of Karl Bird of Jet Propulsion Laboratory as Chair of the Board for 2018-19. We thank and recognize Robin McCarthy of Ste. Marie Specialists who has served as Board Chair for 2017-18 fiscal year. We also install new officers and Board members for the year.

Incoming Board members are Nerissa Sugars of Hollywood Burbank Airport, Patricia Breen of Pacific Oaks College and Children's School, Betty Ma of Pacific Starr Group and Jesse Dillon of the Pasadena Independent/Beacon Media News. 

Gala silent auction
Chamber member companies donated nearly 100 items for the silent auction.
The evening will feature the presentation of scholarships to local students. The Pasadena Chamber will also recognize a small member business, Pasadena Ronald McDonald House, and a large member business, California Linen Services, as Corporate Citizen of the Year. There will be surprise special presentations, as well as an appriciation of our first member with 100 years of continuous membership in the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, Anderson Business Technology. 

Corporate tables cost $2000. Individual tickets to the Inaugural Gala cost $200. Valet parking and a hosted cocktail reception are included along with dinner and the festive celebratory program. You can purchase tickets by clicking here.

Chamber members contribute thousands of dollars worth of valuable and unique services, products and treats for the silent auction. This year, items include travel packages, golf outings, event and sports tickets, dinners, opportunities to explore local attractions and VIP treatment at local wonders.
