The four finalists cocktails have been announced for the SIP-tember Cocktail Bracket Challenge. The public is invited to be there as Pasadena’ s favorite cocktail for 2016 is named during the Taste of Pasadena at the Rose Bowl on Thursday, September 21, 2016. Cocktails vying to be named Pasadena’ s Favorite Cocktail 2016 are:
- Ruth’s Chris Steak House Julio’s Passion: Pom Wonderful, lime juice, sour mix, Don Julio Silver and Passionfruit Syrup with a Lime Twist
Spiced Mango Mule from a/k/a Bistro - a/k/a Bistro Spiced Mango Mule: Made with a/k/a’s unique mango shrub created by our head bartender and featuring Bundaberg ginger beer
- Clearman’s Galley (The Boat) Wild Berry Sangria: Malbec wine, Black Wild Berry Pucker, OJ, Pineapple, Simple syrup
- White Horse Lounge Rye-P-A: IPA Foam, Rye Whiskey, Grapefruit Juice, Cardamom Infused Honey
The Taste of Pasadena returns to Pasadena’ s iconic Rose Bowl on Wednesday, September 21st from 6pm to 9pm. For $30 (in advance before 5pm on Tuesday, September 20th) you can enjoy food tastings from many of Pasadena’ s favorite restaurants and caterers. Tickets are $50 at the door. The Rose Bowl is located at 1001 Rose Bowl Drive in Pasadena.
Guests can enjoy food and drink from many Pasadena favorites, including Alondra Hot Wings, Cabrera's Restaurant, California Pizza Kitchen, Chick-fil-A, Copenhagen Pastry, Du-Par's, El Cholo, Clearman’s Galley, Hilton Pasadena, Lucky Baldwin’s Pub, Madeline Garden Bistro, Nekter Juice Bar, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Pasadena Sandwich Company, POP Champagne and Dessert Bar, Simply Cupcakes of Pasadena, Stark Spirits, Stonefire Grill, White Horse Lounge and Whole Foods Market..
The four finalist cocktails in the SIP-tember Cocktail Bracket Challenge will be tasted live. Guests at the Taste of Pasadena can vote for their favorites. Pasadena’ s Favorite Cocktail 2016 will be named at 8:45pm.
