Scammers, spammers, spoofers, fake callers are all working hard this holiday season - to steal your money!

If you received anything like this from (it's not really) me, please disregard:

                 reply.

They used my name, it is not my return address.

This is just one sort of scam out there - someone mined our email contacts and sent this hoping some will respond and get sucked into who ,knows what.

We have also been made aware that there are people soliciting payment from our local utility companies who have no relation to those companies. If you get a phone call asking you to pay a bill, fine, penalty, overdue charge or even pay to get a relative out of jail, please check with the utility company, police department or relative before doing anything regarding payment.

Also, please be aware that no legitimate business will ask you to get a pre-paidf credit card and transfer funds. They want real credit card, check or cash payments.
