Host Town Pasadena:

A community committee has been preparing for the athletes’ arrival since last summer when Pasadena was selected by the Special Olympics World Games Los Angeles 2015 to be part of their Host Town Program.

One of the most important and impactful parts of World Games is the Host Program.  For three nights and four days, Pasadena will be one of 100 communities supporting athletes from around the world. Host Town Pasadena will showcase our hospitality and cultural diversity of inclusion and acceptance to every corner of our community.  Most importantly, through the Host Town program, we will be able to create a lasting legacy for Special Olympics Southern California that will live on well beyond the Closing Ceremonies on August 2, 2015.

We have a total of 85 we are hosting from Namibia, Tanzania, and Singapore.
