New Chamber Board members, officers sworn in at Inaugural Gala, businesses and individuals recognized

The 2014 Pasadena Chamber Inaugural Gala on Friday, July 11th features swearing in of new members to the Board of Directors, new Board officers and the new Chair of the Board, Ben Green of the American Red Cross.

Being welcomed as new members of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for 2014 are Jeff Christoffel of Honda Pasadena, Kevin Duffy of Corporate Center Pasadena and CB Richard Ellis, Timothy Lusher of the Westin Pasadena and Margaret Martinez of CHAP Care. 

Board officers for 2014-15 are Ben Green of the San Gabriel and Pomona Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross, Chair, Thomas Daly of

Christy, Parker and Hale as Chair-elect, Ron Carter of The Carter Agency as Treasurer, Patty Waggoner of Amalgamated Bank as Secretary. CL Keedy of UBS Financial Services remains on the Executive Commitee as Immediate Past Chair. Also being sworn in are Vice-chairs Karl Bird of Jet Propulsion Laboratory, MIchael D'Antuono of the National Construction Alliance, Joan De Souza of Joan's Candles and Home Decor, George Falardeau of Art Center College of Design, Ishmael Trone of F & M Business Center, Justin Tsui of TeamLogic IT.

That evening the Chamber will honor William Opel, Ph.D., of Huntington Medical Research Institutes with the Directors Award for community service. Thorson Buick & GMC will be recognized as Corporate Citizen of the Year in the large business category. Pasadena Federal Credit Union will be recognized as Corporate Citizen of the Year in the small business category.
